Led Zeppelin : Whole Lotta Love
by Andy Webber

This classic riff from Led Zeppelin uses many of the techniques taught in this course including power chords, slides and palm muting. Watch the video and look at the tab.

Apologies for the poor video quality. Our camera is broken but will be repaired soon!

The correct fingering here is important. When you start, use your ring finger to slide up to the 7th fret so that your index finger is ready to play the next note which is on the 5th fret. This will then make sure you hand is in the correct position to slide up to the power chord shape.

Palm mute all the open string notes in between the power chords to keep everything under control (If you don't know how to do this, check out my DVD).

When it comes to the power chord, make sure you play all three notes, not just the first two. It is often easier to play just two, but it sounds much better here if you play all three, as it gives a much fuller sound.
