This
sample lesson is taken from one of the tutorials
on Andy Webber's "Learn To Play The Electric
Guitar" DVD. To purchase this DVD for just
£6.99 and access the whole range of lessons
and more click here.
This
chord progression uses the chord you learnt in
the Basic Chords
lesson, and builds on what you learnt from Chord
Progression 1. If you haven't already done
so, go back and take the lessons before attempting
this.
This chord progression uses the same chords
as the last exercise. This time we’re going
to add some up-strokes into the strumming pattern.
The strumming pattern is as follows:
Down
--- Up ---- Down ---- Up-Down-Up
Watch
the arrows on the slowed down half of the video
clip. These indicate whether a down-stroke or
an up-stroke is being played.
Practise
trying to get nice clean strokes every time.
Stick
at it until you are fairly good. Don’t
worry too much about being a perfectionist –
everything will come together as we move on.
